Ownership of content
Everything that makes up repellzee.co.uk (text, photographs, videos, logo, icons, page layout, source code) belongs to us or to our partners, and remains protected under applicable intellectual property law. Reproducing, redistributing, altering or reusing it, in part or in full, requires our written permission. Anyone who does so without it may be liable under the law protecting copyright and related rights.
Scope of the information
We maintain this site with care, without giving its content any contractual value: treat it as a set of helpful pointers. A temporary outage, a display glitch or malicious software that manages to get past our safeguards cannot, on their own, give rise to liability on our part.
Back to topOur terms of sale
This text (the "Terms") sets out the framework that binds RepellZee, as seller, to you, the buyer (the "Customer"), from the moment an order is placed on repellzee.co.uk. Confirming a basket means full acceptance of these Terms.
1. What this text covers
It explains the way we sell and applies to every order placed through the site, to the exclusion of any other conditions.
2. The product sold
The listing for the RepellZee ultrasonic repeller sets out its main features. We take real care over the images and descriptions, though an occasional inaccuracy, typo or omission cannot be held against us.
3. Prices and payment
Every amount is shown in pounds sterling, inclusive of VAT where applicable, with any delivery charges shown before payment. A price may change, but the one displayed when you confirm your basket is the only one that counts. Payment is taken remotely, through an authorised payment provider: your card details never pass through our servers and are not stored by us.
4. Delivery and timescales
Your parcel is sent to the address you give at checkout. Typically allow one to three working days of preparation after payment, followed by delivery estimated between five and twenty days depending on the area. Circumstances beyond our control (severe weather, customs holds, industrial action, handovers between carriers) may extend this timescale.
If thirty days pass without delivery, write to us at [email protected] and we will act without delay.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have fourteen days to change your mind, without having to give a reason or pay a penalty. The cancellation period runs from the day you receive the goods.
On top of that we add our own promise: if the unit does not satisfy you, it is refunded in full within thirty days of receipt. Send a message to [email protected] before the deadline and we will give you the return reference and address. The product should come back complete, in its original packaging and with no signs of use. Except where a genuine fault is confirmed, return postage is at your expense. Once the parcel is received, your refund is issued within fourteen days at most, to the payment method you first used.
6. Guarantees
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply automatically: goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. The manufacturer adds its own commercial warranty, which covers manufacturing faults in the RepellZee repeller.
That warranty no longer applies if the unit has been misused, knocked or damaged. To make use of it, send [email protected] your order reference, a description of the problem and, if possible, a few photos.
7. Getting in touch
A question, a parcel to track or a complaint? Our team stays available:
- Contact us at [email protected]
We ask that you come to us first, before turning to a third party (bank, payment provider), particularly over a refund or a disputed charge: a direct conversation settles almost everything.
8. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without removing the protections that UK consumer law grants you as a consumer. In the event of a disagreement, we first look for an amicable solution with our customer service; failing that, the courts with jurisdiction over consumers remain competent.
Back to topPrivacy and personal data
Protecting your privacy matters to us. This section describes plainly what happens to your data on repellzee.co.uk: what we collect, what we do with it and the measures taken to keep it safe, in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who is responsible
RepellZee is the data controller for the processing carried out through repellzee.co.uk, and answers for it. A question on the subject? One address for that: [email protected].
What we collect
We keep to the strict minimum:
- Your identity and contact details: name, email, phone number and delivery address, to process and dispatch your order.
- Some technical data: IP address, browser, pages viewed, useful for security and audience measurement.
- Payment: handled entirely by our payment provider, it is never kept by us.
What it is used for
- Recording, preparing and tracking your orders
- Providing after-sales support
- Making browsing smoother and clearer
- Sending you our offers, only if you consent
- Meeting our accounting and legal obligations
How long we keep it
Your information is kept for as long as it is useful, plus the periods required by law (six years for accounting records, in particular). Once that period has passed, it is deleted or anonymised.
The rights you have
At any time, the UK GDPR lets you:
- access the information we hold about you;
- correct anything inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask for it to be deleted;
- restrict its use;
- obtain it in a reusable format to take elsewhere;
- object to a given processing, direct marketing in particular.
A simple request to [email protected] is enough. You also keep the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) via ico.org.uk.
Cookies and trackers
Like the vast majority of sites, repellzee.co.uk stores small files, cookies, to work as it should, count its visitors and refine what it shows you. Here is which ones, and how to stay in control, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
A cookie, in practice?
It is a tiny file placed on your device when you open a site. It lets your browser be recognised from one visit to the next and remembers certain parts of your journey.
The cookies we use
Necessary to run the site
Impossible to switch off: they manage the basket, keep your session secure and remember your basic preferences.
For audience measurement
Anonymously, they show what is viewed and how, to help us improve the site.
For your convenience
They remember your settings (language, region, active session) so you do not have to enter everything again.
Linked to advertising
Set here and there by our partner networks, they tailor to your interests the adverts you come across elsewhere.
Staying in control of your cookies
Every browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and so on) offers, in its privacy section, a way to view, block or clear cookies; the exact steps are set out in its online help. Note that disabling essential cookies may make part of the site unusable.
How long they last
Consent for non-essential cookies is not kept indefinitely: we ask you again after a reasonable period, and no later than thirteen months. Beyond that point, your consent is requested once more.
